1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Floof ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Floof is a social accountability app. Users form small groups ("tribes"), commit to a shared goal, and post photo proof that they showed up. A virtual companion ("floof") visualises your progress.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Floof. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post harmful, offensive, sexually explicit, or illegal content
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Impersonate others or provide false information
- Attempt to fake photo proof (e.g. reposting stock images) in a way that misleads your tribe
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
6. Content Ownership & License
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Floof a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, display, and distribute your content within the App and its tribe feeds.
7. Account Deletion
You can request account deletion at any time via Settings → Delete Account. When you do:
- Your personal identifiers (email, display name) are anonymized
- You are removed from all tribes
- Nudges sent and received are deleted
- Your authentication record is deleted so the same email can register a new account
- Your posts and reactions remain visible to your former tribes as part of the shared tribe history, but are no longer associated with your identity

8. Subscriptions (Floof+)
Floof+ is an optional paid subscription ($3.99/month or $24.99/year). It is billed through Apple In-App Purchase on iOS and Google Play Billing on Android. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
Refunds are handled by the respective platform (Apple or Google), not by Floof.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms.
10. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and Floof is not a substitute for professional advice (medical, psychological, financial, etc.).
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Floof shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
